“My family and I stayed here for a quick weekend get away. It was the perfect way to get the kids exploring and experiencing all that nature has to offer. The creek was flowing which made for great exploring. The pool cooled us off after walking around with goats and horses. My kiddos could not have been more in love than they were with the baby goats on the property. The cottage was perfect for our family of five and had all the necessities. Thank you, Miss Beth, for a fabulous weekend.”

“This is a hidden gem in the Texas hill country! John and Karen have gone above and beyond as top notch hosts! They have thought of every single detail inside and outside. Just pack your clothes and go! If you love beautiful, country living, on a awesome ranch, then this place if for you. If you find an open weekend when the cabin is not booked, consider yourself lucky! I foresee this place being booked a year in advance as word gets out and the reviews of 10/10 keep coming in! “Very nice. Clean. Easy to find. Beautiful addition and character. Wi-Fi was a bit troublesome but worked. We loved the old original floors and the squeak in the master bedroom. Kitchen was very nice and decorated well. First hot shower had sulfur smell which is not uncommon with electric water heaters and well water that sit sometimes. Subsequent showers it was much better. Would stay there again regardless. Bluebonnets were coming up. Views over the water were amazing. Close to town if...

“There was someone in our room when we got there. Since there isn't a manager on site, it took awhile to get ahold of the owners to get another room. They did put us in the larger room at no extra cost, though, so that was nice. ”

“Stumbled upon this property by accident and it was a delightful stay. The weather did not cooperate, but it was certainly fun to be at the safari with the other property amenities. The cabin was simple and well-appointed for our party of 3. The lady working the front desk was very pleasant. We used the game room in the evening. “My grandchildren have not experienced camping in a tent. I wanted them to experience sitting around a picnic table rather than a living room, everyone sharing one room, one bathroom for all of us, no screens for most of the day, few appliances. All was accomplished! Management was responsive to all needs and offered solutions. The property feels the pinch of no available workers. I find that is everywhere!”

“Everything was clean and ready for us as soon as we got there . Judy was amazing and attentive . I was on crutches, but she was super accommodating the entire trip. She was always available whenever we needed something and checked in with us, as well. The property was beautiful and the lake was amazing . Would definitely come back out here !”

“Nice place. Brand new, but my keys didnt work. The room doors were freshly painted and were sticking closed so much that I thought I'd been locked out. I had about 100 lbs of luggage as I work construction and was carrying tools. No one offered a cart or any help when i was clearly struggling to carry all of it. ”
