“We had a wonderful experience, but prices and fees were extremely high. Restaurant dining is excessively expensive, and we were charged $120 daily for “hotel fees” and “valet parking” on top of the high price for the hotel lodging itself. This is something they don’t communicate in advance, which seems wrong. Hotel will also charge a $200/night deposit upon checking in, which they also do not communicate in advance. ”

“This was a great location for our 1st trip to Maui. The property was beautiful!! The staff so welcoming & friendly. I would recommend renting a car as the resort is about 40 minutes from the airport. Also so you can get around the island. Whalers village was also very nice & convenient with shopping and food options. We did beach walks at night then hopped in the hot tub each night and it was amazing. A cool food truck court nearby gave us some fun dinner options and we were right across the street from a great grocery store. Parking was easy in and out. Would definitely stay here again!”
