“Vi bodde en natt på Howarth House i samband med att vi skulle spela golf på Royal Lytham & St Annes. Vi fick ett trevligt mottagande av värdinnan som löste en tidig och vällagad frukost till oss. Kommer gärna tillbaka till Horwath House.”

“Golfresa med 4 kompisar, ett mycket bra hotell - det enda negativa var att vi sakna den typiska engelska frukosten men kaffet var riktigt bra ! Återvänder gärna igen”

“Ran by a wonderful couple who are really friendly and accommodating. The lodge is in a beautiful location and the facilities and room are lovely. Breakfast was included and we were asked beforehand what we wanted so it would be ready for the time we requested. And it tasted wonderful. Me and my girlfriend have visited here twice now and I'd greatly recommend a stay here.”

“Wonderful stay in a lovely little B&B. Convenient location just half a mile from Bowness, close to the marina. Beautiful surroundings and the B&B is run by a lovely old couple. Perfect for a few days in the Lake District ”

“Friendly and very helpful host. Accommodated my dietary requirements very well. The optional breakfast is tasty and substantial, which is a big hit with me, and definitely worth paying the extra for. Nice new flooring and carpets throughout. My room was clean but could use an electric socket near the bed (I have advised host on this). Bedside lamps were battery only and ran out of power when I went out for a long evening. This might be only an issue in one room however. Runway is very handy...

“Our welcome when we arrived was excellent. Liz was very helpful telling us sbout breakfast etc. Our room no 5 was quite spacious and had a nice view of the hillside of the dale. Breakfast was well cooked and tasty. Glenn was very efficient and knowledgeable about the area and made you feel relaxed with his banter. The en suite was a tad small but we managed ok. Will return and stay with them again at some point if we are visiting the area.”

“Breakfast was absolutely delicious, the room was beautiful, a travel cot was provided for my baby and my bed was very comfortable, one of the comfiest beds I’ve slept in. The hosts were so attentive and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Very family friendly! I will definitely be back and would 100% recommend to anyone 👌”
