“Such a sweet little place with great access to the town! Since a good portion of the Virginia Creeper Trail is closed right now we used the house as a jumping off point to a day of hiking near Boone and another day of exploring Cherokee National Forest. The fenced in backyard was great for our dog. We ate out for all meals because there were so many great options and didn’t use the kitchen much but it looked to be well appointed. WiFi was strong and the TVs were great. ”

“This North Carolina rental was the perfect quiet, rural escape! We absolutely loved the peaceful surroundings and found it to be a truly relaxing getaway. The hot tub was a plus. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind. ”

“Excellent stay on top of the mountain with a beautiful view from the deck for miles and miles. This is a great spot if you want to be alone. It is important that you realize this house is on top of a mountain. It is NOT suited for someone in a wheelchair. The walk from the parking spot to the house is up a severe incline. If you want to go for a walk on the road, it is a very steep road. This is great if you want to be isolated and everyone in your party is fit enough to climb stairs. We stayed...

“The house is very close to the retail, places to eat, pharmacy, and grocery store. The reason I gave location 4 stars instead of 5 is because there is a house that is about 20 yards and shares the driveway. This was not evident in the photos at the time of my booking. This review speaks mostly about pet concerns because the home itself is sweet, well decorated, has comfortable seating, mattress, and a/c. I chose this home for the yard; ability to play fetch; yes, lots of space but my dog does...
