Hotell nära Lanta Djurvälfärd

"Allt var väldigt bra, fantastiskt hotell. Finns små förbättringar som hade kunnas göras. Fler och mjukare solstolar runt poolen. Nya fläktar i taket som inte låter lika mycket. Mjukare extrasäng i delux rummen. Men bara små saker. "

"De hade mycket frukter och även musli på frukostbuffen. Personalen var fantastisk. Rummet ok, luktade lite gammalt när vi först kom in tyvärr hade vi ingen havsutsikt."

"Vi bodde på Lanta Sand i 9 dagar som familj med två barn under lågsäsong. En pool var stängd för renovering. Plus: otroligt bra läge precis vid stranden, fantastisk service och vänlig personal, bra frukostbuffé (barnen pratar fortfarande om de nygräddade våfflorna!), rymliga rum, rimliga priser. Minus: mycket sliten anläggning, det behöver definitivt renoveras. Med det sagt, om man inte bryr sig så mycket om utseende så skulle jag varmt rekommendera Lanta Sand! "

"Rather surprised to read the reviews raging about the manager/owner's hospitality, I guess our experience must have been personal. The manager felt short and rather annoyed with our few request. After a few days of hanging the "Please make up the room"-tag on our door we asked explicitly for our room to be cleaned, to which he replied they had a lot to do and would try to get to it. When we got back the room had not been cleaned and the sheets had just been flipped, which was clear by the old bloodstains that were on the sheets from our arrival. The manager was to us rather unfriendly and while clean floors is nice, the constant policing of feet cleanliness at the front door made for a very unrelaxing experience. Even though the cover photo for the hotel is a beautiful beachfront photo, it was a 4-500 meter walk to a rather lackluster beach with a ton of large rocks in the water, which when the tide was low were completely uncovered. Check-in was flexible, but looking back we must have been provided a lesser room than we paid for. We paid for a Superior Double Room but it was in fact very small with an extremely small bathroom which also provided zero privacy with its screen-like door, and our entire view was the wall/roof of the next building 3 meters away. All in all, this was our first hotel on our five week vacation and also by far the least value one out of our total 10 different hotels, and the manager the least friendly person we came across in all of Thailand."

"We spent 3 days at Layana and loved every minute. The room was great, clean and spacious. The pool area is great and very close to the beach which we loved. It was easy to go between pool and beach and there were enough beach chairs which is a huge plus. Breakfast buffet has everything you could wish for and lovely view next to the beach. We also had dinner twice at the restaurant and loved the food and the possibility to sit next to the beach and enjoy the sunset. The location of the hotel is great and Long Beach is just beautiful. Great for morning or evening walks. Hotel staff was very friendly. "
