“There are flies everywhere in the kitchen, which is absolutely unacceptable. The air conditioning is on a timer, so in the middle of the night you end up overheating — especially if you like sleeping under blankets. For some reason, they think it’s fine to turn off the AC in guest rooms, yet the lobby AC stays on for them 24/7. “This was the first hostel I ever stayed in and it’s still my favourite. I stayed in the all-female 12-bunk dorm and the bed was so spacious and comfortable - there was lots of room to put your bags at the end and multiple little shelves to put your things on. The staff were so friendly and the free shuttle to and from the night market was so convenient, I went every night of my stay. “Very friendly service. Good restaurant recommendation : happy mango. We had the penthouse room which was worth every penny. Spectacular view over the mountains, huge room, no foul smell from the bathroom. Can highly recommend !”

“I had high hopes for this place since the photos looked so nice. But soon became disappointed. I got a single room and the bed was truly awful. I felt I was sleeping on a box spring or something even worse. When I walked in there was hair all over the pillows and the towel they gave me was dirty and brown.
