“This is a wonderful old place but…you MUST have a car! We did not have one but it’s very inconvenient and expensive to get one to come up to this area. Also - there is no dinner service on Sunday evenings - which was the day we stayed here. The staff was SO amazing and do make us a charcuterie plate - and they were wonderful. The rooms are sparse but very clean. ”

“Helt fantastiskt fint och ljuvligt ställe. Lugnt och tjusigt i en vacker miljö. Utmärkt service med vänligt bemötande. Restaurangen kvällstid har bara en lättare meny så man bör vara beredd på att åka till någon närliggande by för att äta. Flingor till frukosten var inte mycket att välja på men i övrigt god och tillräcklig frukost. Besöker man detta underbara hotell bör man också ta en sväng kvällstid till gamla stan, San Miniato. ”

“Very clean and spacious, and beautiful view outside room. Kitchen was fully stocked with cooking utensils, pots and pans to do your own cooking if you wish. Also had a restaurant nearby. Had an outside washer you could utilize if you could figure out how to use it, but no dryer. The only thing that I would see as a negative though, was that the 2-4 km of road to get there was horrible. ”
