“The room was very cold when we arrived, so we tried turning on the heating, which was off, but that only made the room colder. We endured for two days, then had to tell someone at reception. We were told someone would check the heating while we were out and, if they couldn’t fix it, we would get a portable heater and our room would be nice and warm when we returned. It was not. ”

“We had the best stay possible at Knockderry House. The hotel and the location were beautiful, but the best part was definitely the service from the staff. We were blown away by how kind and helpful they were in every single way. Already looking forward to our next visit! Would recommend this place to anyone!”

“Fabulous place to stay . Lovely rooms . Situated 5 minutes walk from the station and 15 minutes away from the back . Nick the host so helpful , recommended places to get breakfast ( can recommend the cafe Gro , fabulous coffee and food ) Would stay here again . Lovely. Thanks Nick we loved it . Janet ”

“We had a nice stay at Albion, got a lot of help from the friendly staff when we didn't knew that we needed it (for instance we got help to get a cab when the subway hadn't started in the morning - nota bene it does not start until 10 AM on Sundays). Really enjoyed our stay!”

“We had a lovely one night stay at this hotel in Balmaha. Can highly recommend staying here and the food in the restaurant in the evening was also really good. Cafe next door had great coffee and icecream and a good bacon buttie in the morning for breakfast. Can highly recommend everything here . Remember to take a walk round the edge of the loch as well and climb the small hill for lovely views ! ”

“Very swanky, nicely equipped, good staff. Our only complaint was that the bed wasn't very comfy and didn't match the quality of the hotel which was otherwise stellar. Free breakfast was decent with the option to order made to order breakfast for a charge if you wanted.”
