âLove the location of the property, away from main road and set back, not far from Brinchang town. Beautiful property ground, love our room facing the mountain! Staff was very friendly. Service and food at The Lantern Chinese restaurant was very good. Breakfast buffer was good but could improve with more rotation of different varieties of food. We stayed 3 nights and breakfast quickly became very repitative.â

âEverything about this hotel is awesome. Except for.... you must make sure you tell the Grab driver the correct hotel. There are 2 locations of 1969s. lol.... I booked the wrong one and went to the wrong one. They are so nice that they helped me transferred my room to the correct location from the incorrect one. â
âIpoh Ă€r en hĂ€rlig myllrande stad, en del gammalt att se med en historisk stadsdel, som renoveras för fullt! Den nya med allt den moderna mĂ€nniskan behöver? Mycket trafik, men Hotellet ligger lite "off" vilket ger lugn. Allt pĂ„ hotellet Ă€r frĂ€scht och rent, frukosten helt ok, flera val. Hotellet kan varmt rekommenderas, men, man bör ha bil, annars taxi hela tiden om man vill utforska staden.â
âWonderful and great stay! The room I got is premier and itâs so spacious! Loved the space and itâs very clean and cosy. The Jap restaurant downstairs the hotel serves great food and so convenient for a meal. There is also the Aaron station18 mall just behind the hotel with great shopping and food. All in all a great boutique hotel and location. Will stay here again when back next time. â

Small quibbles were the internet - kept going in and out, and while the breakfast was more than plentiful, the food was not kept warm.

âBeautiful heritage stay in the heart of Ipoh Old Town. Close to everything you want to see and do in the Old Town. Building was full of character, and the rooms felt unique. â
âEntrance to the accommodation was not easy to locate as I passed at least thrice before figuring out where it is. The front desk closes at 6pm and there isnât a lift so beware not to carry too heavy. The stack where my room is not soundproof and was offered a family room upgrade on a different stack. Overall the stay was pleasant as itâs right in the middle of the new town and a tourist attraction with lots of local coffee shops. The room was rustic but clean with pleasantly strong air...
