âThe hotel is beautiful and the staff is amazing. I have been a lot in LA over the years and it hurt me to see how the area around Hollywood Boulevard and Highland has become. I felt unsafe for the first time ever. â
âBra lĂ€ge, tyst och frĂ€scht hotell som Ă€ndĂ„ Ă€r ganska slitet. Parkeringen kostade endast $16.50/natt vilket var överkomligt. Ok frukost. FrukostvĂ€rdinnan Ă€r fantastisk, men kĂ€ndes onödigt att hon skulle fixa vĂ„fflor och rosta bagels till alla⊠Bra att rummet var stort och hade litet kök.â
âUnderbart hotell med bra lĂ€ge. Personalen Ă€r uppmĂ€rksam och gör sitt yttersta för att man ska trivas. Poolen Ă€r varm och vĂ€lskött med uppskattad popsicle hotline för barnen.

âGood location, cool interior and modern rooms makes for a pleasant stay. The room was quiet despite the hotel is on Hollywood Blvd. Cleaning was good but the shower faucet had a life of itself with loose handle and the shower head spread water everywhere. The room was supposed to have robes but we had to ask reception for them.
When checking in, at 3PM, there were NO rooms available. We had to wait for 1œ hour before we could get any room.

âThereâs âunique,â and then thereâs Gold-Diggers, a five star boutique hotel above a sound studio and small venue night club. Music is the theme! Vinyl turntable in room. vinyl house gift too, along with drink tokens and access to whatever show is happening downstairs. Incredibly helpful staff, but be prepared, the staff is also working the sound studio and everyone goes home at 6pm. After that youâre on your own, more like a high end hip guest house than a hotel.

âStaff was very nice, especially the ladies at the morning complimentary breakfast room and the reception desk. Location was good, but when activities were happening at the Bowl, the traffic was terrible; hard for UBER to get to the hotel. Only one elevator was working the entire time we were there. A bit noisy, even with room towards the back of the property. Immediate surrounding areas not attractive. â
âGreat hotel with wonderful rooftop bar and pool in Hollywood. Great vibe and location as well! Donât listen to the reviews about a bad neighbourhood and homeless people - itâs LA, come on.
Enjoy the surrounding area and donât forget to take a stroll along Cahuenga Blvd! â
âThis was my second stay at Fenix. Can't praise the staff enough, they are awesome. And the hotel itself; the location is perfect, the rooms are clean and modern, safe parking.
There's not a single thing to complain about. If it's available, book it!â

"The hotel itself is greatâclean, well-maintained, and with just the right amenities. Its central location is also a big plus. However, I experienced a major issue with billing. I was mistakenly charged twice for my entire stay. While I did receive a partial refund, the remaining amount has still not been returned despite numerous follow-up emails over several weeks.
Itâs extremely difficult to reach their accounting or finance department as there is no toll-free number, and I have already incurred additional costs from long-distance calls. This situation has caused me a great deal of inconvenience, and I strongly request a full refund of the remaining amount. I hope the management can address this matter promptly to improve their customer service."
