Amazingly wonderful hosts and home
We love staying in our small home away from home. It was a pleasure to be hosted by Annie and Ross. They are kind, caring, helpful and thoughtful. Everything you might ever need is in this home. It is centrally located to fly fishing which is our passion.

Nice House with garden
We were two adults from Germany. We had a good time here. The house offered everything you need and was perfectly clean. Also it was like described. At the river just outside the backdoor we saw plenty wildlife. Would come back here. Annie and Ross where also very helpful and gave us very good recommendations for the area. Thanks for the nice stay.

A wonderful surprise in store. Comfortable and so clean
Annie's is situated on the South Esk River in Hadspen, and overlooks the river from the sitting room, main bedroom and verandah. Annie and Ross provided everything we needed for our stay, including little extras like cereal, condiments and sunscreen, which we forgot to bring. There are some lovely walks by the river in the area, and the hosts were very happy to provide as much information about the area as we wanted. We would highly recommend it. It is only 15 minutes form Launceston and was a great place to stay.

Fantastic place
We stayed at Annie's place on our first trip to Tasmania. Right from the start Annie and Ross were fantastic communicators and answered all our questions as well as sharing with us a map of how to get to the place that actually made sense! They were very friendly, helpful and respectful and my wife and I loved our stay there very much. The place was neat and tidy, very comfortable with magnificent views. We cannot rate Annies place highly enough

Tranquil
A wonderful quiet relaxing and reflective stay in a beautiful setting. A drink on the verandah enjoying the garden and bird life was a highlight. ‘Annie’s’ is spotless, the kitchen very well equipped and includes basic supplies plus! Home away from home
Ross and Annie go to great lengths to make you feel at home in their lovely house overlooking the river. Communication was exceptional from the very first contact and they were friendly and welcoming the moment we arrived without ever intruding at all. The house was equipped with every little thing you might need but not have with you while travelling. Beds were comfortable, location quiet but still an easy drive to shops or the city. Lovely outlook over the river. We never did spot the platypus but it was a lovely spot to sit by the river in the evening anyway and we saw plenty of wallabies on our way there and back. I would be very happy to stay there again next time we are in Launceston.

Home away from home... Amazing little fully furnished 2 bedroom house with everything you need and more, surrounded by beautiful gardens, river and wildlife. Hosts Annie and Ross are super friendly, helpful and lovely people with in depth local knowledge. I enjoyed every bit of our stay and rate this over most of the 2 bedroom serviced apartments. Highly recommend !!

Cosy, tranquil and a home away from home
Annie's cottage is set in a beautiful location backing a river - a tranquil location yet close enough to the city. We based ourselves at Annies and did daily road trips to the east coast and north-west coast. Our kids enjoyed the backyard, interacting with the wallabies and even kept busy with the board games provided by Annie. The cottage had everything we needed and most importantly was very clean. We enjoyed our stay, it was perfect for our family of 5. We hope to return to Annies' some time in the future.

A short drive out of Launceston with a stunning view
Possibly the best experience I've had with hosts - Annie and Ross were extremely friendly, helping us to plan our day efficiently to make sure we visited all the main attractions with our short stay. The view of the South Esk River was amazing and the experience of meeting wallabies close up at night were unbeatable. Would highly recommend this gem of a place for anyone looking for a memorable trip.

Relaxing, comfortable holiday
"Annie's" was the ideal place to holiday, away from the hustle and bustle of city life but still close enough to visit shopping precincts if needed. The cottage was cosy and ample provisions were provided. Overlooking the South Esk River the view was most soothing , relaxing both mind and body. All being well, we would stay again and hope to do so next year. Annie and Ross were most welcoming and ensured throughout our stay that we were warm enough and happy with the accommodation.

Annie's Place was perfect for our last minute break - very homely and well supplied from entertainment options (TV, audio, books and games) to condiments in the kitchen, shampoos in the bathroom and even sunblock! Annie and Ross were incredibly hospitable, going out of their way to ensure that we were able to visit Entally House, providing information about local eateries, and viewing of local wildlife. Plenty of short walks down to the river and Entally House, or across the bridge (no pedestrian footpath!) to the riverside park. Close to Launceston. Sunny aspect looking over the river. There is a bit of road noise from the bridge with the doors to the verandah open, but not a problem with doors closed or at night. Instant confirmation of the booking was a welcome bonus for a last minute break, but easily surpassed by the rest of our stay. Thanks Annie & Ross!

Fully self contained excellent amenities and the hosts provides us with cooking condiments (oil, milk, salt pepper) so we didn't have to purchase them when choosing to make our own meals. Plenty to to do for a night in from reading a book, playing a family board game, watching a streaming service or wallaby feeding. Really relaxing atomosphere. They provided us with additional extras such as highchair, portacot and toys for our 10 month old baby. Hosts went above and beyond to ensure we were as comfortable as possible.

Riverside tranquility

Just a short 10-minute drive from the heart of Launceston, our family loved our short stay at Annie's Place. The unit is has plenty of room, is well equipped, and is very neat and tidy. Communication was excellent and hosts, Annie and Ross, gave us some great tips on where to go and what to see around Launceston. Highly recommend!

Comfortable and convenient
Lovely, cosy peaceful cottage, and very well equipped. Hosts Annie and Ross were wonderful with local tips, even down to helping us find a restaurant for a birthday dinner on a post Christmas Monday night. Great location for touring Launceston and surrounds. Night time feeding of the wallabies was a real treat.
