This remarkable residence spans three levels. Enter the ground floor with an expansive double garage, offering the luxury of off-street parking. The fully equipped laundry and a downstairs bedroom are conveniently located here, with a plush double bed for a restful sleep located within the bedroom space.
The middle floor features a generous bathroom, a separate toilet, and the heart of the home: an open-plan kitchen, living, and dining space. Natural sunlight pours through north-western facing doors throughout the day, warming up the space beautifully.
The open living-dining area features tasteful furnishings including a 6-seater dining suite and comfortable seating to enjoy some entertainment on the smart TV. The sleek kitchen hosts contemporary appliances, including an induction cooktop and dishwasher. Launceston has many things to see and do including the vibrant Harvest Market every Saturday morning, the Princess Theatre, hosting local, interstate, and international performances, the Star Theatre for a cosy, cinematic experience, and many pubs and venues that host amazing live, musical talents.
Often referred to as the 'Lygon’ Street of Launceston, you will find some of Launceston’s most popular eateries and amenities on the illustrious Charles Street. George St is also known as ‘Eat Street’ with a range of restaurants, bars, gin houses and cafes to cater for most tastes.
The Cataract Gorge is just minutes away, a spectacular natural formation where you can enjoy long and short walks, fresh water swimming basins, the world's longest single-span chairlift and vibrant peacocks! An additional, unique way to experience this attraction is via the Tamar Cruise vessel, which cruises through the waters that carve between the rocky formations.
The City Park which is known for its beautiful oak tree gardens, playground for the children, a plant-filled conservatory and cheeky snow monkeys. Nearby, you will find Penny Royal World. This attraction provides you and the family with a fabulous day out, with boat rides, rock climbing, rope courses, and more found here. An additional area to note is the Seaport Precinct. Here you will find some of Launceston’s most beloved restaurants and bars scattered along the edges of the Tamar River. METRO BUS SERVICE: Metro bus service provides transportation throughout Launceston and its surrounding suburbs each day. To access timetables, routes, and prices, please visit the Metro Tasmania Website.
FREE TIGER BUS: The bus travels around the city. There are bus stops located nearby outside Princes Square Park and the Launceston General Hospital. It is easy to spot – painted with the black and brown stripes of a Tasmanian Tiger! For timetables and routes, please see the Metro Tasmania Website (Free Tiger Bus).
ELECTRIC SCOOTERS: You will find purple and orange electric scooters scattered around Launceston. To access these, please download the Apps ‘Beam’ and ‘Neuron’. Please wear the helmet provided and be safe!
