Cheap and cheerful. It's pub accommodation so don't expect valet parking or chocolates on the pillow but it's a good pub with great staff, cold drinks, good food and plenty of onsite parking. Bed was comfy, shower was hot and I slept well. Thanks!

Tiny room above a bar. Access was shady and didn't feel secure. Area was not that nice. Building was run down and old. Bathroom was smelly. Glad we only stayed a night.

Great pub hospitality. Good food at a very reasonable price. A little noisy during the night due to road noise. Enjoyable stay.

Noisy.
Very noisy. I can't sleep all night long with external songs and others guests making noise in other places odf the hotel.

Needs some TLC and fixing up to a better standard. Noisy people in the next room from 6 am - 8.30 am. Bathroom sub standard. Vanity tiny in size and shower hard to get the cold water to work to regulate the temperature of the shower. Very basic amenities. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The stairs are very steep and are the only access to the rooms.

convenient access to hospital for family member in difficulty. felt safe and room was on side of building away from road, so that road traffic noise was minimal clean and very reasonably priced

The hotel is in a good location for dining options and navigating north of Launceston. It is on a busy street though, so it wasn't particularly quiet.

Well we chose to do a Budget room… and that is what it was. I don’t understand that NOT putting a lamp in the room but has electric blankets, hairdryer, iron. I would have thought those luxury items would have been cut NOT the Lamp. Parking felt a little risky and having to walk all the way around to the front of the building and not through from the bistro or pub was so annoying!!! Comfort was meh, cleanliness was good. Like I said it was a Budget room.

Room was clean n tidy..but was very difficult to sleep as my room was right on corner of busy intersection with trucks..fire alarm faulty n kept going off throughout the nite..shared toilet facilities n took 5mins for water to get hot.. The staff were amazing n accomodating..

This place was fine for one night. I don't know Launceston well and in hindsight wished I booked a place in the City Centre or West Launceston. The Mowbray area felt a bit dodgy.

I booked a room which included a bathroom specifically for a shower. However the shower was terrible. The worst i've ever experienced at a motel/hotel. Crappy water pressure, difficulty in maintaining a hot temperature and the then the hot water simply ran out as I was attempting to wash my hair. The pillows (4) were all very soft. There was no face washer provided. There were towels, hand towel, and a floor mat. The light of the ambient power light on the TV was way too bright for such a small space which impactedy my sleep. The room was clean and presented well overall but I would not book this room again purely because of the poor shower experience.
