“Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from a Best Western. I booked because their prices were great, and I needed a place to stay (obviously). I was very impressed! Front desk was nice, and they had a great selection of snacks and drinks. Rooms were clean, beds were comfy, and the sheets were sooo soft. I didn’t do breakfast which I’m pretty upset about because 1) it’s rare a hotel offers free breakfast anymore and 2) it smelled delicious. Location was weird, but in a good way? Easy access in and...

“The staff was friendly upon arrival. Due to bad experiences in previous hotels, I thoroughly checked the room, beds, towels, and washcloths for cleanliness and unfortunately bed bugs - THIS room was immaculate. I wasn't really worried about staying at this hotel since it is affiliated with IHG, and I have NEVER been disappointed with a reservation at an IHG hotel. I appreciated that the double-bed room we stayed in had both a microwave and a fridge, not either/or, a couch and table, as well as a...

“We booked Super 8 Laurel 'cause we wanted an outdoor pool after 5 days of Festival-camping. Upon arrival the motel makes a very dirty an unfriendly impression. No flowers as shown on pictures at hotels.com. Then the porter tells us that the pool has not been in use for 3 years!! That's why we immediately left and stayed at Motel 6 in Laurel instead. Clean rooms and supervised and fresh outdoor pool there. Information on hotels.com for Super 8 Laurel does not reflect current status.”

“We had booked a room with two double beds. When we arrive at the hotel, they can only offer a room with only a single double bed. Since we were three people who were going to live there, it became a problem for us.
The clerk offered to cancel the room. But since we arrived late in the evening after 20 hours of travel, that was not an option for us. We ended up having to squeeze into the only bed available. We asked if they could at least give us an extra blanket. But was told there were no...
