“Amazing location overlooking the bay. We saw sea turtles, reef sharks, sea lions and lots of fish just sitting at the bar sipping cocktails. Breakfast is at the sister hotel across the road. The food served is from 2pm-10pm only (and also comes from across the street) and is cash only but very delicious (we had the meat and fish skewers). Only stayed one night before our cruise but would definitely stay there again if we were to return (and for longer than one night only).”

“We loved everything about Lava House. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and spacious. The owners were incredibly welcoming and great hosts. The breakfasts were also wonderful. Location was excellent for doing all the activities the island has to offer and the hotel can help arrange and make recommendations. Would highly recommend to anyone! ”

“Excellent hotel off the beaten path. Special shout out to Gabriela she was so helpful! This hotel was clean, great breakfast and comfy. It’s a 10 min walk from the ferry but near lots of good options for dining. My only feedback is the rooms face the courtyard, if you plan to sleep in this isn’t the place for you. ”

"Very convenient stay with walking distance to "everything". Great hospitality & kind staff! We especially enjoyed the pool area with the jacuzzi to relax after our day trips. Highly recommended!"
