âWe stayed as a family with our 3 children for 24 nights and 25 days. Apart from the rude behavior and unbecoming attitude of the valet staff at the Residence Inn Berkeley, one of the most beautiful spots in the city, everything was wonderful. We loved the cleanliness and spaciousness of the rooms, the friendly staff, and the entire team, including Brenna Miller, Gabriela, Teresa, Rachana, Maili, Maria, An Max?, Iris, Gregory, and a gentleman with a mustache and white hair whose name we couldn't...
âThis is a community gathering place (plays, dances, weddings...) that is also a hotel. It has been faithfully / lovingly preserved as it was envisioned 100 years ago. It has a character and beauty not found in many contemporary hotels. âWe had a great stay at this hotel it was close to the Greek Theater. The bed was comfortable the balcony was a nice touch. They donât have their own parking and you canât stay in the parking lot that belongs to the grocery store next door. We still managed to find good parking close and the car was safe. Were definitely going to stay here again!â

âAmazing spot and a very fair price. Really well appointed rooms with lots of character and big windows - only drawback was my window was courtyard facing so didnât have any privacy with curtains open.
At a great central location - near 12th/oakland Bart stop, food, coffee, and a Walgreens within 10 minute walk. It can seem a little dicey at night so I wouldnât recommend wandering the streets then.
