“A delightful cabin getaway with a gorgeous view of a private fishing lake. We enjoyed making fires and taking walks in the back. The cabin was clean and quiet, and evenings were not spooky with all the outdoor lighting around the place at night. Would love to return!”

“We rented for a weekend, so we could get to know the local area. Sister Lakes is a nice area, consisting of several lakes, including Cable Lake (where the cabin is located). There were plenty of beds and the bathrooms and kitchen were well-updated. The screen porch was a perfect place to enjoy a time-appropriate beverage and the beautiful Cable Lake view. Easy check in and nicely stocked and furnished!”

“Stayed for 2 days for a girls weekend to scrapbook. Was a beautiful hang out spot for in the middle of winter. Cozy and comfortable.”

“No decorations for new year(you can spend $50 to decorate) No tables to accommodate all the persons together for celebration.There are not 5 bedrooms- one master ,one open space loft in the 2-nd floor,one good size bedroom in 1-st floor and basement with one little bedroom and “bunk beds room “ very very tiny.Everything else 4+(out of 5).”

“My husband and I needed a quiet get-away and this was the perfect place! Our hosts graciously met us to check us in, even when we arrived late. They walked us in to make sure everything was in tip-top shape and that we had everything we needed! They were friendly and stayed in good communication through texting. The cabin was comfortable and cozy and the view of the lake beautiful! We will come again! Highly recommend!”

“Philip and Krista's home is so cute and perfectly updated, while still keeping the character of a cottage. We stayed for a weekend in the fall so it was a bit chilly in the bathroom and bunk house, but the hosts left us everything we needed to stay warm and were easy to get a hold of for anything we needed. The location is gorgeous and the property is so charming!”

“The property was beautiful with a wonderful view of the lake! The house was beautiful and the perfect size for a couple. The hosts had plenty of supplies in the bathroom in case you forget anything. We enjoyed having a full kitchen, and if we wanted to eat out, we were very close town as well. We’re hoping to come back soon!”

“Fun time with four of our grands…ages 9, 6, 4 &4. Kids slept on pull out couches & chairs. Loved the fire pit, a little pickle ball & short ride to South Beach. Kids Corner was a big hit. A few issues but manager was quickly responsive. Would like to go back with grown kids along too!”

The only downside was that we were unaware the property was pet-friendly and there was a LOT of dog hair in the cottage, in the corners, all over the fabric sofa in living room and even woven into the bed sheets (not just the bedspread, but the actual sheets) we had to wash the linens before use, but no big deal, we love animals, we just weren't expecting the animal hair to be left behind. “Such a cute cabin, exactly as described. Perfect location, close drive to downtown (maybe 5 min). Very clean and had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. Perfect for the dogs with a large yard area. Hot tub was a nice touch and we had it to ourselves. I would stay here again in a hearbeat!”

“We've stayed in this development before, and LOVE the location! The property was clean and the hosts were very responsive. Really appreciated the family room set up with comfortable seating for a group! Beach chairs and umbrella were amazing! The beds are not great (which was a disappointment) and, personally, I would have loved to have ceiling fans in the bedrooms. Properties like this make vacationing easy! Thanks Dean & team!”

We were in town for a wedding and it was a very comfortable place for us to stay and easy access to where we needed to be.”

“What a lovely home. Everything you need for a perfect stay just outside of the main areas but 5 minutes to the beach. Very clean throughout, the washer and dryer is a bonus. I did cook while there and everything I needed I found easily. Owners were very easy to communicate with. The little touches of having coffee, tea and popcorn available was perfect.
