“The location was in a perfect spot and it was easy to get in and out of the neighborhood to go to all the places that we wanted to visit. The beds, pillows, and couches were very comfortable. We only had one significant complaint - it was unbearably hot upstairs. We couldn't get the thermostat downstairs under 80 degrees, and upstairs felt even hotter. I see comments from other reviews that we should understand "historic home" to mean that the temperature cannot really be controlled, which is...

Someone kept opening the gate to the backyard which was strange and a bit uneasy. The two times we ate right by the house we didn’t feel comfortable. “We had a busy weekend in Cinic and really needed somewhere to rest. Well this place was that and WAY more. My teens want to rent it again to be able to spend more time there! It had comfortable beds, it was walking distance to a lot of cool stuff, it had a lot of things to do inside. Not to mention it was a cool turn of the century home that has been renovated so it was a lot of charm. We also loved the quirky decorations! Definitely will rent again!”
