“We stayed on our way home from Texas to Michigan and this was the perfect spot. Very easy to check in-lots of lighting even though we came after dark-which helped immensely. We hauled a small trailer and Shawn was very accommodating for parking. The homemade bread was a very warm welcome after being on the road all day and the whole cabin felt warm and homey. “My family and I rented the Bluebird Cabin for 4 days. It was a dream! It’s close to trout fishing, swimming, floating, and many other things. We even got rained out and still had a blast. It’s a great place to go to unplug as there is no service except for WiFi but honestly, who needs a phone when you’re busy having so much fun. “Loved the location where the cabins are on the other side of the lake. Beautiful view of lake, very peaceful! The only drawback for us (3 senior ladies) there was no swimming access even though there should have been! You can only swim at the lodges designated swim. A roped off small area with lifeguard. We would rather swim across from our location. The cabin was nice and clean but bunk beds weren’t the best for older ladies. We dealt though! Loved the porch and serenity! ”
