“Exterior and interior fire places were nice. A thorough cleaning and repairs of both interior & the screens should be considered, There was plenty of dry split wood, we brought a hatchet just in case we needed to make Kindling and we did. No big deal for us veteran VRBO families. The bedrooms were quite spacious and the two king beds were very comfortable. “This stay was like coming home. Comfortable, quiet, Inviting. The gracious host thought of the smallest comforts and amenities to really make the stay special.The kitchen had exactly what we needed, Bbq on the patio was a great touch. Morning tea, sitting at the table enjoying the view of grandkids sledding right outside below the mountain scenery. Clean, inviting beds with soft linens with all the pillows you could ever need. Towels thick and fluffy like a spa, couch blankets for cuddling....

“The amenities being different from the lodge was a little confusing/disappointing. Particularly the adherence to the 4pm check-in time and the upcharges associated with this. The host was accommodating as there were a few things missing. ”

The problem with the place is that, while you are in beautiful natural surroundings of the Suncadia Lodge, this property has a view of nothing, not even the parking lot. For what the owners want you to pay per night, you would expect a little more. You are in the Suncadia Lodge; it shouldn't feel like you are at a hotel next to a major airport. ”
