Cozy Cabin #3 located 1 mile from Bennett Spring state park

Located just off Highway 64 are these small cozy fishing cabins, these cabin have a queen and two twins. sleeps 4 persons . The bathroom has a full shower and toilet with 4 gallon hot water tank, don’t expect a long hot shower, and small kitchenette ,each cabin has a bbq grill and picnic table.***PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN CABINS UNATTENDED ANYTIME***

You turn down a poorly maintained gravel road behind a shut down liquor store. Once you pass, this should be condemned building with people living in it and the RV that has become permanent residence. You see the sheds. They look nice, and in a different location would be fine. Check in with the horrible, no communication on check-in. Had to reach out through. Vrbo messaging him to try and get a hold of the property manager. Check-in was supposed to be at four, but when we showed up the unit was open, and had not been cleaned. Property manager finally messaged us back and asked if we could wait a couple hours or switch units. According to our weather, there’s a storm coming in so we ended up checking into a hotel. Ask the property manager for a refund, but did not get a response.

Pretty bare bones comfort but we have stayed here before and knew what we reserved. Plan to go out to eat or go up the hill for BBQ or make sure you have or get plates, cups, utensils, and dish soap if you plan on eating in. There is a microwave, heat plate, coffee makerr in the corner and a small toilet area with shower. You do get towels and toilet paper but dont expect shampoo or soap. Fridge never got real cold but we had coolers. Hot water was plentiful so no complaints there. We came to fish all day and sleep at night so that's what we did and the AC and fan worked so that was nice and although we paid a daily cleaning fee and service fee, not sure what that was for as we never really saw anyone. Although the one time we did need something, we were thankful the store was open and got the help we needed and good service. Alll in all, It is a nice little cabin and the location was good.

Cold showers

We didn't expect many amenities as per the online description, however we did expect hot water for showers. After being in the shower, and the hot water running out before we were even able to apply soap, we timed how long it stayed hot.....47 seconds!!! Not good after a long day in the sun.

We stayed in a clean room, beds were comfortable, no bugs or even people to bother. But all three beds are in one room, with a little shower and stool not enough room to sit on a stool in normal fashion, again all very clean. This is not a good fit for less mobile people steep grade going into room steps and no hand rails for climbing steps. Quick response from renter on questions. Perfect for sleeping.

Nice sleeping cabin

Nice place if you want to be near Bennett,listing leads you to believe there's a bedroom but it's just 1 large room with 2 beds the hot water heater gives you about 2 minutes so be prepared if you're taking a shower

Cabin #3

Cabin is fine for a couple guys that want to fish. No seating, mostly beds in the main area. No tv, which is fine. Its a good place to sleep. My only conplaint is rge hot water last 3 minutes at best is at best warm. Unacceptable, i get get by with minimal amenities, but after a day of fishing, i would live to wash the stink off

You get what you pay

We arrived when the heat index was above 100. The air conditioning was not on to have our room cool when we arrived. The place appeared clean until the first night when we pulled back our sheets and all three beds were dirty. I attempted to take a shower and I had maybe 5 minutes of warm water before turning cold. Would be perfect for a bald head person but not someone with thick/long hair. We had several bugs/ants in our room (which I know come with it when “camping”). The property itself was little junky and not finished. Our table outside was on a hill which was not comfortable sitting. Would not recommend for a family trip. They did apologize for dirty shirts and tried to accommodate. Very nice staff.
