“After lots of driving it was a pleasure to have such a comfortable place to stay. Everything was clean and tastefully decorated. The shower worked great and the bed was very comfortable. AC and TV were awesome, and my own keurig for coffee in the AM Had dinner at the Wood River inn, just across the street. Food was really good. ”

“It was a great stay. It was our first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast and will certainly not be our last now with such a great experience we had at the House of 1833. Evan was an exceptional host/chef. He gave us a tour of the home and the history. The breakfast in the morning was incredible from the homemade apple cranberry muffin to the Greek Italian Mac & Cheese Spinach Souffle. We would highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a quiet, yet close to town place to stay. ”
