43 Vid sjön Sunrise Cottage

  • Stugan ligger på en höjd med utsikt över sjön - Det har totalrenoverats och rymmer 4-5 gäster (inte en festzon). Det finns ett stort däck med skärmad i solrum som bidrar till utrymmet. Utsikten är härlig med morgonsoluppgång och utsikt över sjön och mot Blue Mountain. Det ligger inbäddat i trädkanten - Ett nytt kök och nytt badrum .. Parkering för två bilar samt rum vid bryggan för upp till en tjugo fots båt - kanot och kajaker kan hyras intill. Den tillagda 16 x 12 däck med 10 x 12 skärmad i solrummet lägger till 120 kvadratmeter utedörren skärmad i rymden WOW !!! Dessutom ser BQQ-området precis utanför solrummet ut mot gräsmattor och sjön .. Detta är ett två sovrum med ett bra vardagsrum. - Det andra sovrummet är effektivt och har en våningssäng med en dubbelsäng för vuxna och en övre för bagage eller barn. Stugan är öppen och har ett nytt modernt kök - det finns ett nytt badrum med dusch - gästerna verkligen njuter av den unika miljön och sviten .. Detta är inte en festzon - Ja njut av några öl osv, men jag tolererar inte berusare och fester. Fastigheten bredvid är densamma - Ha kul - Bli inte full och dum - Charleston Lake Park ligger några minuters bilresa bort med en fantastisk strand - jag inkluderar ett park pass för dem som verkligen vill ha den sandstrandens badupplevelse. Tillträde här är perfekt för kanot / kajak - Liten båt .. Och "mjukt botten simning" .. The Sunrise Cottage ser över sjön och har sol hela dagen. och stjärnor på natten - Det finns gott om området runt stugan som stiger upp från stranden - En enkel promenad ner till den gemensamma bryggan Vardagsrummet har en soffa - stolar och matplats. Det finns ett fantastiskt kafé för frukost i slutet av körfältet - Och de säljer fiskeredskap och licenser samt bra glass .. En båtlansering är mycket nära och med arrangemang kan du parkera upp till en 18 fots båt ..

It's a rustic cabin, clean and comfortable. Pretty view of the lake, and the owner has thoughtfully supplied anything you might need, including cooking utensils, coffee, dishes, etc. There was great communication with the owner, and we found our stay very relaxing. Would certainly stay here again.

Lake views with amazing sunrise, clean rooms and the host Scott is a very nice person, kitchen had all the basic items you might need on a vacation. Overall, it was a great place to stay.

The cottage is small and rustic, as advertised. The kitchen is well equipped, the view over the lake great, and amenities as advertised. The park pass is a great asset, as it is very close and has excellent beaches, hiking, and canoeing. Wifi was excellent - didn't check the tv. So long as you re not looking for anything fancy, this is a very good place to stay.

Immaculately clean little cottage overlooking beautiful Charleston Lake. Very basic in its decor and furnishings, but we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. It was reassuring to know that Greg was nearby if we had any issues (though we didn't need him for anything at all.) The beds were very comfortable! The weather didn't cooperate for us to fully enjoy all the amenities (including the fire pit and free use of the pass to the nearby Provincial park) but our cottage was a centrally located home base while we explored Kingston, Gananoque, Perth, and other nearby places. Sitting out on the front deck was both relaxing and entertaining - birds and wildlife are abundant, and the site is otherwise generally quiet (but not too remote.)

Had a great time at the sunrise cottage. Accommodations and amenities (restaurant, supplies and boat rental just across the road) were much appreciated. The lake was the big highlight as it reminded us of what we’d find at Algonquin, but less than half as far from Montreal.

Lovely Autumn Retreat

It was a lovely place for a weekend in the countryside. The accomodations were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with basics, and lots of wildlife to watch by the waterfront. Overall a great rental.

This small, humble, and tidy cabin easily met our needs for a short-term visit. Our host was welcoming and helpful. The grounds around the cabin were delightful. The mosquito netting around deck was very good idea. Cabin's location within minutes of the Provincial Park was perfect.

Nice rustic cabin in a beautiful spot

We enjoyed staying at the cabin, very convenient location, beautiful outdoor area and nice patio, our host showed us around and gave tips how to navigate. Appliances are old but working just fine, the beds are super comfortable, great deal for the price.

Quiet and homey

We enjoyed our stay. We were 3 people staying and the rooms accommodated us perfectly. The tin roof was the perfect cherry on top at night when it was raining.

Excellent place to stay

The host was amazing. The cabin was very clean. The host was available if you required assistance and was very informative about the area and things to do. I would say he goes above and beyond.

The cottage was rustic and well-maintained with all the necessary amenities to make our stay comfortable. Greg was kind, easy to communicate with, and extremely helpful. This cottage is very close to Charleston Lake Provincial Park, and we made great use of the park pass that was included with our stay. We are grateful for Greg's hospitality and would love to return in the future.

Great Getaway

This is a great property at the Outlet, on Charleston Lake. We stayed in the smaller cabin and it was perfect for our getaway. Cabin is clean, well stocked with cooking essentials, fresh linens, fire pit and a beautiful view of the lake. Our host was fabulous. Great spot at the end of the laneway for snacks/icecream, breakfast and much more. Our only regret is that it was only a short staycation/recharge. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We had a lovely stay at the yellow cottage! Fireflies at twilight and the wonderful bird songs throughout the day. So peacefu. The Lake was calm and great for fishing! Greg was extremely helpful with info about loal hotspots (Twists for ice cream and breakfast) as well as historical information about the property. Greg is an amazing host!

Cozy cottage for 2 adults

The cottage is small and more suitable for 2 adults, not 4. However cottage has everything you need during your stay. Comfortable bed in master bedroom. 2 level bed in other room needs to be lubricated so it doesn't squeak. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, weather was perfect, lake was full of fish :)

Little Cottage on the Lake

I grew up going to this lake and really enjoyed my stay in this little rustic cabin. We had a lake view and access to the dock; enjoyed drinking coffee while watching the sun rise and hearing the loons call. We enjoyed our host Greg and invited him for a drink one night. This place is near to many gorgeous hikes and you can rent a canoe at the end of the lane and hop into the lake. There's a good liquor store and grocery store within 10 minutes and a cool brewery within 20. I'd stay there again!

Perfect getaway spot!

This quaint little yellow cottage is the ideal stay for anyone looking to getaway from the hustle bustle of life and get back to basics. Perfectly located on Charleston Lake, bordering the breath taking Provincial Park and just down the road from the sweetest little rural town of Landsdowne that has all the basic needs. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to explore nature during the day, be it hiking, canoeing, fishing, swimming, paddling or anything else and relax by a cozy campfire under the stars, listening to the loons at night. We had a wonderful time! Greg was a fantastic host and look forward to our next stay.
