“The cottage was comfy and felt like home. The kitchen was well supplied. Everything was very clean and in good condition. Very quiet.”

I personally loved the outdoor shower but it was not private - you share it with another unit. Hosts were great and lovely people. Their dogs are so sweet and gentle! They location is a bit of a drive from the main roads to Hilo but excellent access to volcano national park. The unit had everything we could need. Great stay.”

“We recently stayed at this property for several days and had a really nice experience. The check-in process was smooth for the most part, and the directions provided were clear. However, we were initially given the wrong gate code, which caused a bit of confusion. “Just like camping. Carpet had not been vacuumed. There was one light and one outlet that could only be used for charging devices. No hair dryer or curling iron use. Two towels, no hand towels or wash cloths. Bathroom sink was only plumbed for cold water. Shower liner was peeling and there was no bathroom light. Common area was not clean. ”

Internet marginal for working vacationers & didn't recall ceiling height in loft being mentioned (too low to stand up) Hot tub was a real bonus yet having dry towels was a challenge. “I loved staying at Maggie’s studio in Hilo. It was really clean and spacious. There were plenty of parking and I like the usage of having a kitchen and the convenience of a washer and dryer. I would come back and stay here again the next time I’m back at the big island. ”
