“There is no doubt that the hotel has been renovated to a luxurious, high standard and that the staff are well-trained and pleasant. And one of the charms of The Swan is that it is an old building with quirky staircases and little nooks and crannies. However, we were disturbed during the night by doors banging and people using stairs outside our room in order to access theirs. It doesn't matter how luxurious a room and a bed are if you are constantly disturbed and for this reason we don't feel...

“I had made a mistake when booking the room, i booked a 'snug'. With two Golden Retrievers - a big mistake. Management were great and found us an outside room that was more suited. Loved the staff, other customers and the people in general. Felt the history.”

“A beautiful property set in beautiful surroundings that had every mod con and item you could possibly need! The beds were so comfy and the ensuite shower, well wow! I did not want to get out! The water is so soft and the pressure is far more superior compared to where we live! We visited the beach too for a couple of days, which was amazing, The Trawlerman gets a mention for the best fish n chips we’ve had in a long time! We will definitely return to stay as we have family living nearby now!...
