They had a bathroom up there as well. My husband and I stayed on main floor and there is a bathroom on that floor also. We had an amazing time. “The house was great. It was right on the water, and the lake and area are beautiful. The only downside for us was that there wasn't much around to do. There are two small towns in either direction, but they only have a few restaurants and small shops. Traverse City has more and is about 45 minutes away. Since there wasn't a lot to do, it was one of the most relaxing vacations we have been on. The kids had a blast on the paddle boards and kayaks. Bring water shoes because the shore is rocky....

“This place was the perfect size for our two families of four. With four adults and four kids, having two living room areas was ideal—it gave the kids their own space, which helped them settle down at night. The location was also fantastic! We loved being able to walk to the dock to fish and then spend our days at the Lake Michigan beaches. The only suggestion I have is to improve communication with the owner, as messages sent through VRBO didn’t seem to go through.”

There is no central AC - just a window unit on the upper level but there were lots of fans and were able to keep the cottage cool. We loved being so close to Sleeping bear dunes and all the restaurants and shops in Glen Arbor. ”
