Howard's End is in a enviable position at the top of a private drive off a country lane in beautiful peaceful countryside. The cottage is surrounded by fields and the pretty farmhouse kitchen looks out on a field full of cows with their calves - just wonderful!
We spent a lot of time in the kitchen as it is the heart of this lovely cottage, we cooked there a few times and it was a joy - plenty of space, utensils, crockery etc. The Games cupboard and DVD collection went down a treat with the kids, bedrooms were comfortable as well as a spacious bathroom and a good powerful shower. The utility room was a Godsend for cleaning our muddy boots - loved the original sink! We were blessed with good, dry weather that enabled us to get out and about, we visited Tenbury Wells, Berrington Hall, Croft Castle, watched cheese-making in Monkland, Ludlow Castle and done part of the Black and White trail and came across lovely little villages like Pembridge. We had fab fish and chips from Dimarcos, Leominster and a lovely pub meal at The Fountain - we'll be back!
