Fitger’s has a classic, historic vibe and the beds were comfortable. The coffee was good too. But for the price, I expected more. Breakfast was only granola bars, which felt disappointing, and the place feels dated in ways that aren’t entirely charming. It’s fine if you want the landmark experience, but I’m not sure what justifies the cost.”

“I thought the renovation was amazing. It is quick and easy access to everything downtown and Canal Point. The neighborhood is also being renovated. We were on the first floor in front of the street window so there was some noise later in the evening. Overall, will absolutely come back. The room itself was lovely!!!”

Within walking distance to great restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and shopping. Lake Superior and wonderful rock beach in front of inn. Nice full deck with fire pit. “Upon check in, everything seemed fine; however upon entry of our room; we had a huge hiccup. Booking through the Expedia site gave us the incorrect room compared to the hotels listings. We had 5 guests and only 2 beds, no sofa sleeper as indicated through Expedia site.
