Levanto une belle découverte

Joli petit appartement avec la climatisation partout. Prévoir une condition physique pour atteindre l'appartement car pas d'accès en voiture et ça grimpe bien. 😅Pas loin à pied du centre-ville et de la plage.

Great location no AC or WiFi and loud!

This town is lovely and this unit is right in the heart of it. Very near a nice beach you can walk to and lots of restaurants and a supermarket. But beware of some potential deal breakers. I would not rebook again. There is a bell tower that rings every 15 min, 24/7, loudly. Yep you read that correctly. Banging all night it kept me awake. It’s located directly out the master bedroom window. They give you a WiFi code but it has “faulty” connection and they are sorry! No efforts besides sorry. There is air but you can’t control it. We came in June and “it wasn’t hot enough” to come on. There is a fan. If you want to explore a lovely town and are in great physical shape to climb a steep and bumpy hill with your luggage, and are a great sleeper who doesn’t need internet or air conditioning then this place will do! There is washer and dry rack. You need a lighter to light the stove FYI! If you book this pack a lighter and ear plugs. And pack light! The train station is about 20 min walk with luggage and children in tow, slight hills. Then steep hill to apartment.

Appartement spacieux bien situé avec quelques améliorations à faire

Le logement est plus grand que sur les photos. Par contre je rejoins d'autres avis sur la propreté qui pourrait être améliorée (de nombreuses toiles d'araignée au plafond, ampoules qui ne fonctionnent pas, hôte grasse, canapé usé et fauteuils blanc tachés mais tous recouvert de housse/tissus). Il y a effectivement un clocher qui sonne toutes les 15 minutes et ce même la nuit. Le logement est très bien situé et doit être frais en été étant donné son orientation et l'épaisseur des murs. L'accès aux villages des 5 terre est très pratique et de Levanto on évite les marrées humaines des villages des 5 terre. Des rangements supplémentaires dans les salles de bains ainsi que des crochets pour les vestes seraient un plus.

Disappointing. NO A/C NO wifi. This unit is more about looks then function. I booked this rental as it said it had AC & wifi, both of which I needed. AC never worked. We visited in the summer with summer heat, I am in menopause so needed AC to sleep but got no relief and as a result no sleep. Owner did bring some fans but didn't do much. Also this rental is at the top of a small hill area, so work up a sweat to get to the unit and then we had to shower to cool down as the unit was no relief from the summer heat. I could connect to the wifi but it was not connected to the internet. As a result I had no internet while away on holiday. There was no toilet paper in the main bathroom & 2nd bathroom had only a few sheets. The stove is gas & did not have a lighter with it for us to use. Owner advised I could get a refund and then ghosted me. I have reached out to Expedia (who I booked this vrbo though) and vrbo as well who said the owner had to refund my money for the stay. vrbo advised they left voicemail message and email for me to be contacted & never heard from this owner. I also repeatedly sent whatsapp messages which have been ignored. The town of Levanto is beautiful and a great place to visit the Cinque Terre. Very easy to take the boat from here to the other towns. Behind this rental is a beautiful clocktower. This could have been a great stay but we were mislead when booking and so very hot and disappointed with our stay.

Perfection! So convenient to the Cinque Terre!

Just an absolutely beautiful apartment! Levanto is a fun town in its own right…but also incredibly convenient to the Cinque Terre without the crowds (and price tag!). Owners were fantastic and location was perfect (though be ready to hill or stair climb…but it helps burn all those gelato calories!). Highly recommend!
