Welcome to “Valor Circle Cottage!” Our modern 2BD cottage (sleeps 4) is ideally located in the Capitol City of Frankfort, this charming cottage offers an old charm with modern update. Start your Bourbon Trail adventure at Buffalo Trace(2 miles), then head 10 miles to Woodford Reserver or Castle & Key. The capital is a 4 minute walk. We think our place will help you experience everything Frankfort has to offer.

As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere, with tasteful decor and ample natural light streaming through the windows. The living room provides a comfortable space to unwind after a day of exploration, complete with plush seating and a flat-screen TV for your entertainment needs. The fully equipped kitchen boasts modern appliances

We had an excellent stay! Clean. Great space for our family (2 kids and 2 dogs). We enjoyed being able to walk to the Capitol and the local bakery. Very close to Buffalo Trace.

We really enjoyed this place!!! It’s very clean and has everything you could possibly need during your stay. It is centrally located (walking distance ) to restaurants, shops, and distilleries. The neighborhood is also very good. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch day and night. We will stay here again if we return to Frankfort. We definitely recommend this vacation rental.

It's an old house, the kitchen is dark and downstairs. The stairs are very narrow. The house if very musty smelling, air fresheners try to overwhelm the house but you can still tell. As soon as you walk in the house you feel the tilted house. You can't tell from the outside but when you walk inside you can really feel it. The house had bare amenities. No extra towels in the bathroom, kitchen, not a full roll of paper towels, etc. For the price I paid it really wasn't worth it. I noticed when I booked the house the host responded quickly, but I had to pay an extra fee for checking in a couple hours early. When I would reach out later, the host wasn't responsive. Only responsive when she had to. The pictures are better than actually being there. The house next door is not in the greatest shape and the house behind it has been torn down. So if you have small kids, I don't recommend walking around the house because there is a drop with no fence or barricade. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place. Hot water was very limited and there was 4 of us. We had to take short showers and they were within a 2 hour window.

Awkward layout with kitchen down ricketty stairs. Tasteful nice decor, but lots of nicked walls, holes in walls, flaking paint and bubbling wallpaper. Lawn was not mowed and quite long. Mosquitos attacked as soon as dog went into long grass. Skunk ran out of grass once, freaked us out. It must have come from vacant overgrown lot next door and hole in fence. It was hard to see with overgrown grass until it ran away. Charcoal grill hasn't been cleaned in who knows how long, and no charcoal provided.

This house is nice, very clean and comfortable. The host communicated extremely well. It is in a great location and worked awesome for our two couples spending the weekend enjoying some of the Bourbon trail. We would definitely stay here again.

We very much enjoyed our stay here! The house is so cute! Very beautifully decorated and clean. The beds were very comfortable and the location was perfect if you are looking to explore Frankfort. We were able to walk to downtown from this location. I would warn those that may not be able to do stairs, that you do need to go downstairs to have access to the kitchen and second bedroom. But the main floor you walk in on has a bathroom, bedroom and living room space. We definitely would use this cottage again for future visits if available!

Family Birthday trip

Dont be turned off by location or outside appearance. Inside decore is really nice. AC a little tough to figure out but works to make ot comfortable in summer. Upstairs shower loses hot water after one shower but downstairs is fine. Really centralized location for exploring the Frankfort/Lawrenceburg area.
