Welcome to Stillmeadow Farm, a grand Georgian-style home nestled on 135 acres in Frankfort, KY. Featuring 5 bedrooms & 2.5 baths, guests will enjoy breathtaking views, elegant décor with family heirlooms, & local artwork. Perfectly located for exploring the bourbon trail, Thoroughbred farms, or experiencing the best of Bluegrass. We invite you to Live like a true Kentuckian & be surrounded by rolling hills & farmland. Oh... did we mention, we are located just along Elkhorn Creek.

Professionally managed, our team is here to assist with any needs.

We are located in Rural Frankfort on a 135 Acre working farm.

You will access the home with a code generated specifically for you!

The Farm is a working farm, so no access to the paddocks. Guests are also prohibited to bring ATV's to the property

GATHER
Stillmeadow Farm is the perfect place for friends & family to gather when visiting the Horse & Bourbon Capital of the World! Surrounded by rolling hills & horses, you will quickly fall in love with everything this farm has to offer. Spend the summer days sipping Bourbon outside, walking around the yard, grilling hot dogs & burgers, and unwind on our cozy deck after a day on the Bourbon trail. Oh did we mention... we are just a short-commute via car to kayak Elkhorn Creek at Canoe Kentucky! Watch your favorite movies or shows in our cozy living room on the main floor or listen to the rain in the sun-room! There is so much for you to do at Stillmeadow Farm, no matter what season it is!

EAT
While we recommend several local restaurants, we also encourage you to use our well equipped kitchen to make your favorite meals! Enjoy your dinners outside on the patio or in the beautiful dining room or eat-in kitchen. If you are looking for a simple, yet fun meal, roast hot dogs & hamburgers on the grill!

We also work closely with a local Chef who can cook meals for you if needed. Contact our team for their information.

SLEEP
Traveling with a group of people? No worries! With 5 bedrooms & 2.5 bathrooms, there is room for everyone! Four bedrooms are spacious and feature KING Sized Beds, while our fifth bedroom features 2 QUEEN Sized Beds. All Full Bathrooms & Bedrooms are located on the second floor.

  • Kentucky State University was chartered in May 1886 as the State Normal School for Colored Persons, only the second state-supported institution of higher learning in Kentucky.[1] During the euphoria of Frankfort's 1886 centennial celebration, the city donated $1,500 towards the purchase of land for a new college on a bluff overlooking Frankfort. The new school formally opened on October 11, 1887, with three teachers, 55 students, and John H. Jackson as president.[1] Recitation Hall (now Jackson Hall), the college's first permanent building, was erected in that year. KSU became a land-grant college in 1890, and the departments of home economics, agriculture and mechanics were added to the school's curriculum.[1] The school produced its first graduating class of five students in the spring of that year. A high school was organized in 1893. This expansion continued into the 20th century in both name and program. In 1902, the name was changed to Kentucky Normal and Industrial Institute for Colored Persons. The name was changed again in 1926 to Kentucky State Industrial College for Colored Persons.

The stay was great! The only bad thing I could say about the property was that there was no ventilation. If anyone in the house went to the restroom, everyone knew. Besides that, it was a great time and experience!

We loved Stillmeadow farms! Our children keep asking to go back.Large elegant home with many amenities! The kitchen is well stocked! Lots of cooking and baking dishes!We enjoyed the large backyard, watching the cows out the front windows and the huge family style kitchen! Thank you for sharing this amazing property on VRBO!

Cozy Country Convenience

We stayed for along weekend as a family. As posted before this house is spacious and nicely presented. We were able to stay in the countryside and get to the attractions quickly in and around Frankfort and Lexington. Great stay looking forward to coming back for a longer stay.

Girls Getaway

The property and everything about our stay was perfect. The home is lovely as are the grounds. Close to our Keeneland and Bourbon Trail events and good restaurants. Would highly recommend!

Perfect Kentucky Home for a bourbon weekend w friends!

This house was perfect! There were seven of us and we have fit more. Huge house with the most perfect Kentucky view! So many rooms to enjoy, we spent most of our time and the bar/Library room. We also spend a ton of time on the deck. Very easy check in and check out. Just great space to enjoy Kentucky, we will definitely come back!

Bourbon tour getaway

We were very pleased with the location of the home as it was central to the stops we planned on our tour. The house was gorgeous, the rooms stunning and comfortable. What a true gem of a property this is! We're definitely looking forward to a return trip.
