Detta fantastiska Fastigheten har nyligen renoverats till högsta standard och ligger i sin egen 40 hektar. Med en fantastisk utsikt över en av av de vackraste Yorkshire Dales. NÄs av sin egen privata enhet .. Den Bothy Àr en lyxig och vackra retrÀtt frÄn allt! Det finns oljeuppvÀrmning och en woodburner sÄ fantastiskt Äret runt. Den har sin egen skog trÀdgÄrd. vilket ocksÄ leder ner till floden Ure. Det finns rikligt utbud av vild lax och öring att fiska. Ett vilt fristad för mÄnga fÄglar och vilda blommor. Wensleydale har omfattande attraktioner. SÄsom den magnifika Aysgarth Falls och fantastiska Bolton slott bÄda walkable frÄn Bothy, det finns mÄnga andra vackra promenader. Det finns utmÀrkta pubar och restauranger inom rÀckhÄll. I nÀrheten av köpingar och ikoniska byar ger ett rikt utbud av butiker och platser av intresse. Fountains Abbey, York och Whitby Àr ocksÄ inom rÀckhÄll. Tour de France kommer att passera i slutet av Bothy enheten under sommaren 2013.

The bothy was a very nice place to stay, especially if you want to be outside of a noisy town and enjoy the sounds of the country, sheep baa-ing,horses naying. Joyful!The bothy was well equipped in the kitchen, and had a blow dryer, curling iron, and ironing board/iron. We found it clean and tidy and the owner is on the premises if you need anything.

A really comfortable and charming property. Very clean with a well equipped kitchen. The bed was also good (even for me with a bad back). The location is superb - in a quiet valley, an easy walk to Bolton castle and just a stroll to Aysgarth waterfalls. As a map will show, really close to Wensley and Leyburn with nice pubs. Juliet and David were very friendly hosts (as were the sheep).

Very comfortable and lovely setting

We loved our short stay! Perfect location, had a BBQ on the riverbanks, perfectly situated for a walk. Very comfortable bed and all the amenities.

Wonderful stay at The Bothy

We stayed for two weeks at The Bothy. We used it as a base to explore the Dales. We enjoyed seeing the local sights and villages. There are numerous sites to visit within one hour’s drive. Also, there are nice walks from the front door to visit Aysgarth Falls, Cauldron Falls at West Burton, and a longer walk to Bolton Castle. We found the cottage to be comfortable, including plenty of cooking utensils, good stove and a reasonable-size fridge. There was plenty of hot water for the comfortable bath and shower. The bed was comfortable. The small sofa was a little tired, but reasonable. The washing machine and dryer worked very well. Bothy cottage is on a working farm. There is also bird life in the area, including a white owl and the ever-present colourful pheasants. The owners live onsite and are not intrusive, but are there if one needs assistance. The scenery on this farm is very beautiful. Thank you for the lovely stay.

Yorkshire retreat

We had a good stay in early September, though the weather could have been better. Great walks from the bothy and easy drives in the area, Leyburn is a convenient stop and Campbell's was wonderful. We were somewhat disappointed not to have met or interacted with our hosts, but otherwise it was a good holiday.

Respite in the Dales

We had an absolutely wonderful time here. The Bothy was perfectly decorated and set up for a wonderful stay. The location could not have been better with the ability to walk to the Aysgarth Falls and Bolton Castle, and to embark upon longer drives and hikes throughout the Dales. We could not have asked for a better spot to stay.

Wonderful Stay at the Bothy!

My husband and I had 5 glorious nights at the Bothy and wished it could have been longer. Juliet and her husband were really helpful and accommodating, the apartment was lovely and comfortable, and quintessentially English, and we both fell in love with the sheep. The welcome was warm and the apartment had what we needed. We would not hesitate to return. Thank you Juliet!

Short break in Yorkshire Dales

Perfect location

A well equipped, comfortable bothy in an idyllic location. We would definitely recommend doing the walk to Aysgarth Falls following the public foot paths. We would definitely visit again.
