“We stayed at Ritz during 26/6-28/6 to celebrate our daughter’s 10 years old birthday! Yuki, Nia and Dora made extra effort and prepared supprise decorarion in the room and some birthday presents to our daughter ! It was such nice warm gesture and made our daughter so happy!
We had stayed at Ritz few times before, in fact we return there again before we leave Singapore!

"Our first room was uninhabitable due to concrete drilling in the room next door. WHY do they put a guest next door???
When I called and asked them to stop, they said the work would continue for another two hours but that we could change rooms. I said I wanted the noise to stop because we had already unpacked everything. Their solution? They offered us earplugs!
Later, we were contacted by a manager who handled the issue in a professional manner.
Breakfast was chaotic. The tables were arranged in a way that forced people to squeeze past where you were sitting. On the second day, we chose to have breakfast in the Club Lounge instead, which was calm, although the selection was of course more limited.
Speaking of the Club Lounge, we were informed by a staff member that we could enjoy the afternoon tea even after checking out, which we appreciated. However, when we arrived in the afternoon, we were questioned and were only reluctantly allowed in, and only for tea/coffee and a small pastry.

"The location, building, and breakfast are all top-notch. However, what detracts from the overall impression is the absence of a proper lobby—replaced by a café/restaurant—the room facing the inner courtyard with exposure to a terrace used for parties, and the fact that bottled water wasn’t provided as a complimentary amenity; instead, guests were directed to tap water (a 33 cl bottle cost 11 SGD). Additionally, the sun loungers were rarely sufficient on fine days."
