The bed was so comfortable and the evening views of the sunset from the patio were beautiful. We will definitely be back. This was a last minute getaway and I’m so glad we found it.”

“I loved staying here! I travel for work and decided to check out a local Vrbo instead of a hotel in Texarkana, and I’m glad I did! Will made the check in process so easy and him and his family were so welcoming. The dome was great and so cozy during a storm that came through. This would be a wonderful couples getaway or a fun family trip!”

“The cabin was beautiful and relaxing. Very comfortable bed and the couch pulled out into a bed for our grandson. The weather was windy the first day but the second day it was calm and we caught quite a few catfish. The back porch was great to sit on and enjoy the view. Our host was absolutely fabulous. We will definitely be coming back.”

“We had a great stay at this cozy little cabin near Caddo Lake. The property is across the street from the lake and not on the water. I'm not sure this was super clear in the listing. The beds were comfy, and there was good parking for a few cars and your boat. The neighborhood was quiet!”

“This place is off the beaten path and really unique. This place can comfortably sleep 8 people and has plenty of outside deck area. Although we aren't fishers... This is a great place for people who fish. The grandkids loved the loft room and unique steps up to that room. The place was clean and had plenty of linens and beach towels. We had a great time.”

“Property was exceptionally clean and well stocked. We enjoyed the quiet, peaceful setting so much. Short distance to a great steakhouse and a seafood restaurant as well. We never received any information regarding the property manager but a neighbor gave us information regarding the owner who was very pleasant and helpful regarding access. Water quality needs attention. Would recommend for quiet getaway”

“The hosts live super close and we met them right away. Keith was about to go for a ride in his mud boat and asked us to join him. Words cannot describe how much we enjoyed this. We seen parts Caddo Lake that most people will never see. Our room was super clean and quiet. The property is beautiful with a large well kept lawn that leads you right to the water. I can’t say enough good things about this lodge and the hosts. I hope we get to go again soon. Thank you both so such a wonderful weekend!...

“We enjoyed our stay at the Lone Star cabin. It was tucked away in a quiet area between Maud and New Boston. Nights were filled with the sounds of nature... frogs, etc. Horses just behind the cabin. The owner was very responsive and the cabin was just the right size for my husband and me and our 13 year old Jack Russell. Great place to relax!”

“Our stay with 3 adults and a small dog was very comfortable. Cabin is well maintained and equipped. Beautiful views complete with deer sharing the property. Very quiet location. Gracious on-site hosts. Two upstairs bedrooms require navigation of steep steps. Otherwise very accessible to anyone. Would love to come again.”

The kitchen was well equipped, the bedrooms comfortable, the neighborhood quiet, and the view beautiful all while being close to Caddo Lake activities. Thank you for a restful and fun place for me and the kids!”

“Property is just as described. The porch over the water is serene. Fish weren't biting, the area is slightly flooded, but a very relaxing getaway. The bed is comfortable. Everything you need for cooking is available, just bring your groceries and don't forget the coffee. The town of Jefferson is nearby with nice restaurants and plenty of antique shops.”
