“Wonderful home and lots of space, located literally in the middle of everything you would want to do in Long Beach, or walk to the Metro and take the train into NYC. We even walked about 5 min to a public ice skating rink or 5 min the other way to great restaurants and The Laurel Diner that was delicious. Host was wonderful, attentive and quick with communication. Would highly recommend.”

The place was immaculately clean and the surrounding property was beautifully landscaped and maintained. Though in the midst of Freeport the neighborhood, like the place, was quiet and pleasant. We brought our 2 dogs and found the apartment well suited for them with hardwood or tile flooring, no rugs, and the absence of "breakables". Our hosts were responsive to the few questions we had. . “Was a good place to stay”

“My friend and I shared this studio for three days and two nights and I wish we could’ve stayed longer. Dr. C provided a comfortable and homey place for us, that made me feel at home. Her communication also made for an easy check in and check out process. It was a great stay and we hope to stay again. :)”

“Michael is an excellent host. The house is as advertised - 3 bedrooms, one of which is disconnected from the main house. We very much enjoyed the enclosed patio and the outdoor grill. Michael keeps the house well stocked with towels and pretty much everything else that you need. The only reason for the 4 star rating is that this is an older house, so it is a bit run down, particularly the kitchen. Bug spray is also a must as bugs do get in the house.”

“My fiance and I stayed here with a couple of my adult kids after a concert at MSG. Lots of fun playing games together and watching a movie on the huge TV. The snacks left out for us were a nice touch. The house is located in a residential neighborhood and I was able to walk to the deli down the street in under 10 minutes. (Good egg sandwiches there). Fun vibe, which is just what we wanted after a night in the city. Very few things we didn't like about it. The only negatives I would say are that...

“We got to the house and it was a lovely house, in a great location. The garbage outside had meat and other garbage not in bags. The storm door was broken which we fixed ourselves, the floor was full of sand, the air conditioner in the kitchen didnt blow cold air and the fan in the ktchen didnt work either, the remote was nowhere to be found. I think some of our money should be refunded.”

“We came to visit family and were tired of staying in overpriced, dingy hotel rooms. This place was great. It’s a peaceful neighborhood, with a great view. We had some family over for a low key celebration, and Mike, the owner, was so accommodating.
