“The personnel at the bar and restaurant were really nice. The location is best in the area. Room comfort and information could be better. Not specially vegan-friendly.”
“Unfortunately, the check-in at this hotel was one of the worst I’ve experienced. Firstly, they do not accept American Express, which was inconvenient and not clearly stated in advance. The receptionist then struggled to process my alternative card, insisting it didn’t work. I politely asked her to try again and of course, the card worked perfectly the third time, confirming it was a user error on her part.
What made the situation worse was her lack of apology or acknowledgment of the mistake....
“We loved this place! Perfect location and we got the top floor of the house to ourselves. Very clean everywhere, a great shower and lovely comfy beds and bed linen. A very filling and hearty breakfast as well and Mark was very friendly and helpful. Cannot fault this lovely bed and breakfast at all, highly recommend it and we will be back again hopefully. Bamburgh also a lovely place to stay! ”

“This was a rabbit warren of a hotel, with rooms of all shapes and sizes scattered throughout the site. We were initially given a very dark room, which was a strange shape, and a yapping dog next door; we were given a much better room when we complained.
There was a problem with the wifi connection throughout our stay, and as the mobile phone signal was poor, we had to leave the hotel to get an internet connection.
There was insufficient car parking on site and so we had to pay £10.80 per day at...
“Elegant blende, god och fräsch mat. Vi bodde på två executive rum och de hade ett eleganr möblemang som fick oss känna som om vi befann oss i en Jane Austin roman fast med modern komfort.Allt tipp topp. Ett vackert herresäte med en underbar trädgård. Bara mazen (labyrinten i trädgården) är värd en resa. Allt superbt och välstädat och med det lilla extra. Det finns en trevlig pool och en bubbelpool. Perfekt hotel att bo på om du vill besöka Lindisfarne och Alnwickcastel. Ett hotell du måste bo...
“Really friendly country pub and a great room. All the staff were great and and George the host even helped clear the car screen of ice, lovely chap. Would highly recommend to a quiet relaxing get away with great food. Excellent breakfast”

“It was amazing, the garden rooms are a hidden gem! The design of the room and bathroom were beautiful huge room. The hot tub was a great added touch! I was very thankful for the soya / oat milk in the fridge for us too. The little path to the joiners arms could have been lite a little better from the road to the static caravans but the pub was great also, food was delicious and breakfast was fantastic, great options. The village and walk to Beach especially with the added sunshine and heat on...

“We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and had a great time. Our room was lovely and very clean. The breakfast menu is varied plentiful and very good. Gillian and Karen are very friendly and helpful. Have to mention the desserts which we had one evening which were delicious.
