“This was the best vacation home I have ever stayed in, the amount of attention to detail that Marlene and Trent have put into making sure their guests are comfortable is unbelievable!! “The location is close to everything. All of our family enjoyed making big family breakfast together and enjoying hot tub time and cooking out on the deck in the evening! In the area, we visited nearby pools and The Cave Bar and grill which the grandkids age 3, 7 and 8 loved!! I wish we could have a fire pit at the house to roast hot dogs and marshmallows with the kids. The WiFi was good and we were able to easily find kid movies on the smart TVs. Over all, a great family bonding vacation!”

“Dark and creepy if you’re a single female staying alone. Shower and toilet are a short distance to walk to at night with minimal light. The owners are on site which was comforting to know after realizing who the random lady was that in fact scared the heck out of my guest by beating on the window of their vehicle. Overall not extremely terrible but probably wouldn’t stay there again.. ”

"The lodge is nice and charming. Pool areas good and water clean. The rooms are dated, but ours was clean and good. The bar and restaurants are okay. I guess the staff is Midwest nice, but maybe a little bit lazy. I don’t get the feeling anyone would go the extra mile to make my stay better. But with the price tag it’s good value for money, I would go back."
