Fantastic Location, Experience Could be Better
Stayed in September and couldn't be more thrilled with the location and size of the apartment. Great windows overlooking the hustle and bustle of the city. Our stay was nice, with a couple inconveniences:
Check-in was difficult, as the door code/handle was very complicated and didn't always work property. Needed to call someone to assist us the first time, and when the instructions over the phone weren't working, they sent someone. Every time we came back, we typically had to try the sequence and instructions a few times to get the door open. Easy fix for someone and would make a big difference.
My biggest complaint was the towel situation. There was a sign on the washer and dryer that you could not wash towels but could call a number to swap. During our 9-day stay, we called one time (after 5 days) to exchange our towels for a clean set. It was re-iterated to us that we were forbidden from washing the towels but told if we wanted clean towels, we would need to pay $50 to change all the towels and linens. Very frustrating to have to use dirty towels for 9 days when all we needed/requested was one clean set.
Again, the location could not be beat! Many times, at rental properties, I've had the property manager make contact or check in. This is run by a "hands off" remote company, so it was definitely a unique experience for me. Didn't put a damper on the stay, but probably would not return due to the inconveniences (because have had wonderful stays elewhere).
