Interesting apartment in a block near Bairro Alto. Great location in a square and interesting internal decor with nice quirky touches. On the negative side was a long way from the key pick up to the apartment - not meeting on site “due to Covid” doesn’t cut it I’m afraid. Worse, heating is needed in Lisboa in November and it didn’t work in the main sitting room. After multiple calls over the whole of our first day this was sorted. Particularly annoying was that the office started to cut our calls off and we had to call on different phones to get through.
Also annoying in self catering is the kitchen had no basics - salt pepper oil maybe spices and herbs. Again Covid not an excuse for this. We run rental properties a d provide these. Meant in order to cook had to buy these items as well.
Final annoyance was the Wi-Fi password in the instructions being incorrect and the office. It knowing the correct one. Having guessed was likely to be related to incorrect upper and lower case letters in the instructions we went through a range of combos and found the correct one.
In summary, a good apartment but a bit spoilt by a range of fixable flaws.
