I don’t even know where to start. Booking made on Vrbo. Somewhere between booking and arrival property mgt company changed. We were receiving messages about self check in with no real instructions. We arrived thinking it would be evident and it was not. It turns out (1) payment which was to be processed the day before had not been processed due to change in companies and (2) vrbo took zero responsibility and offered no assistance. Luckily one of the messages mentioned a local address where we could store luggage so we drove there. The gentleman knew about the mgt company change and provided a number to call. It took over three hours and many phone calls but in the end payment was processed and we had access to the property. Once there we realized the apartment was in a state of disrepair and not as clean as it looked. Kitchen trim hanging or missing, bathroom sink stopper mechanism broken so a knife was required to prevent stopper from falling into the trap, broken furniture, stained sofa, lamps that cannot be used due to no nearby outlet, no pods for clothes or dish washers, no courtesy pods for Nespresso machine, dirty floors as evident by my no longer white socks.In addition there was no light in the elevator and the main entrance code box stopped working so we were stuck on the street with no access. I don’t know if this will be seen as I believe vrbo is longer listing this property, but if it is visible, I recommend you pass on this one.
