“We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge. It was very cosy and well equipped. The setting is stunning with beautiful countryside and a haven for wildlife. It was lovely to see the otter and so many different birds, the woodpeckers being our favourite. Angela and Shaun have obviously worked very hard to make this into a special place to come and stay. If you want some peace and quiet, this is the place to be. Sitting in the hot tub, overlooking the lake is a blissful way to enjoy a glass of wine...

“Absolutely loved our quick little get away. Lovely remote area and amazing for stars at night. The cottage was a good size even with a toddler running about. The welcome basket was a saving grace and loved the bara brith (ordered more to take home as gifts too). We went into Llandeilo which had not many but lovely shops and on one of our days drove for about an hour to get to folly Farm. It was nice and relaxed and the hot tub was so comfy. “We stayed a full week in pretty relentless rain yet came away thoroughly impressed by the accommodation and the welcome received from the hosts. The photos almost do not do the property justice, you really need to stay to properly appreciate it all. Lovely history to it, everything you need for your stay. Top quality heating system and faultless WiFi. Nice location, easy walk to the pub and a reasonably short drive to the shops. Our dogs had bowls towels etc provided. Lovely welcome hamper...
