“Relaxing stay for my family”

“We were thrilled with our stay at the Farmhouse (located behind Das Peach Haus). It is an oasis with real farmhouse sounds on or adjacent to the property. Chickens (and roosters) in a coop and wildlife (blue heron, muskrats, frogs) near the pond every day. Even Percy the Peacock visited us regularly on the back porch! Vintage farmhouse layout, but each bedroom had its own bathroom. Less than 2 mile walk to Main St (but driving is advised), yet you feel you are in the country. We'll stay...

“This year for Christmas my family decided to do a getaway in lieu of gifts. We came to Fredericksburg for shopping, dining, and hiking Enchanted Rock. This house was the perfect home base for us. Each of my children, my parents, and my husband and I had separate rooms, but plenty of space to hang out together, too. It was a quiet retreat while still very close to Main Street. We will definitely try to stay here during future visits to Fredericksburg and will happily recommend the house to anyone...
