“I liked the property a lot. It was clean and the hosts were really kind communicative and patient. There was loud music playing nearby at night and although it didn’t bother me, it maybe helpful info. At the time I booked this Expedia doesn’t mention the property takes cash only. So heads up to have enough cash as the local atms can be out of money and/ or have limits and there is no bank in town. ”

“The property is very clean, and the staff were very professional and welcoming. We originally stayed on the top floor, but the room we were given had a thatched roof which is very nice. However, it was not sealed and the roof acted as an amplifier of noise from outside. They changed us to a regular room, and that was much better and quieter. Other than that room, I would definitely stay there again. ”

“The pool is gorgeous. As you step onto the deck, you're met with a spectacular view of the infinity pool that overlooks the ocean—truly breathtaking. As well the view from your room is outstanding. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, enhancing the overall experience. Traveling as a solo female, I always felt safe both on and off the property. I cannot wait to come back to Sayulita and La Puesta. Highly recommend. ”

“We wanted to mix luxury resorts in Puerta Vallarta with a bit more relaxed vibes in Sayulita. Not only through a day visit but for a few nights. Based on good reviews and a nice price offer from Hotels.com we opted for Ximena. It lived up to all expectations. Good location on walking distance from the beaches. “This was a peaceful oasis in a busy place. The rooms were beautiful and spacious with polished concrete floors, a little kitchenette with a full sized fridge, a comfortable couch and bed. The location was excellent to the centre square of the town (less than 5 minute walk). The staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic in the beautiful courtyard. The gym is spacious, has relatively new equipment, and is air conditioned. There is also a great view from the gym!”

“Lalo, who runs the property, was very hospitable and accommodating! As a solo traveler, I felt completely safe walking around there the entire time. The entrance is at the top of a steep hill, so get your legs ready! Renting a golf cart for a day was quite fun. I would love to stay there again. The only reason I gave the area 4 stars is there is construction going on directly by Distrito 88. ”
