“We had a lovely stay at Knoydart Cottage, the cottage itself is very homely and the view is spectacular. The kids had a ball exploring the garden, although we encountered a few ticks, so do keep an eye out. The convenience of the Duisdale Hotel literally being next door was great for the nights we couldn't be bothered cooking dinner. A beautiful part of Skye, Armadale Castle down the road is also a must see, fabulous play area for the kids. Highly recommend 👌”

“Stunning location ”

“We’ve had five nights in this cottage. We where surprised about the landscape driving towards the cottage; lakes, hills and sea. We saw sheep cows and deer. The cottage was a perfect gift to explore the Isle if Sky. Wood for the fireplace, wine on the table and fresh made cake. We where a bit early but very welcomed by Dorothy and Andy. “Perfect rental in all points. We are used to several platforms for regularly renting houses and flats during our trips. This one was definitely our best experience. Surrounding, view, quiet place, very nicely decorated, the owner very helpful, close to many sightseeings. Don't hesitate a minute and enjoy your stay in west Highlands !”

In the evening we made short trips by car to see the deer. The sheep with there lambs were a joy to see (drive carefully!). “Ideal for a short stay”

“We have stayed in the area many times but first time stay for the Croft, highly recommended and beautiful very secure garden for our 2 dogs, house very well equipped, the only gripe of it is a gripe is a mirror near a socket would be good for us ladies who need to dry our hair, and maybe a wardrobe to store clothes if there is more than 2 adults but there is a rail with hangers on and drawers so we got by. We would definitely return.”

“This was our 2nd time staying at the Holly Tree Hotel in Kentallen. The views are incredible, great food and very nice staff. Kentallen was a good home base for the week where we could strike out from to Oban, Fort William, Glencoe, Skye.”

“From the hot tub that was ready for us upon arrival, to the fireplace inside that was strike-a-match ready, our stay at the lakeside cottage was a very hospitable one and a great place from which to explore the larger area.”

“Stayed in the lodge- you pay for the hot tub and the setting. The accommodation is dated and cramped with little amenities especially in the kitchen-broken utensils etc. Feel the price warrants a little bit of a higher standard. Restaurant on main hotel serves great seafood. Just don’t expect the lodge accommodation to match the outdoor facilities!”

“Communication from Karen leading up to our stay was excellent, meaning the caravan was very easy to find. Both in this communication and the handy folder in the caravan meant after a full day travelling and exploring getting there we were able to find somewhere to eat easily. “A well equipped, large 2 bedroom apartment. Ample parking. Easy to find. Central Fort William is not on the doorstep, but still walkable. Good internet. Only one downside, and the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5, is the beds. I don't know how old the mattresses are, but they are kind of lumpy and I left a body shaped dent in mine when I got up (and I'm not a large person) - they need replacing. The double bed is also rather short - I am 5' 9" and my feet kept touching the base board - someone...
