“We had a great time in this lovely Cottage. We loved to watch birds and squirrels on our balcony. We enjoyed playing with the owner´s dog Ralph and canoeing on the loch. Portnellan is a great starting Point to reach almost every destination in the Highlands. Our tip for families ist to do the GoApe treetop challenge in Aberfoyle. Enjoy your stay, we did it.”

“Etwas in die Jahre gekommen, mit "Charme". Gegend ist sehr schön, nur etwas off grid ohne Empfang und Internet. Die Wassersportler machen ordentlich Lärm. Aber ein sehr charmanter Pub gleich um die Ecke. ”

The weather wasn't good during our stay, but we didn't have to move from the sofa to get spectacular views out of the windows! There was a selection of books to read, which I made use of. The beds were very comfortable & the heating system was easy to use, except for the fact that the heating controls in the bathrooms were at floor level.
