“Very comfortable and enjoyable stay in a great area of Argyle. Michael was a great host, and having made sure we were comfortably settled left us to enjoy the peace and tranquility that this part of the world offers. Saw the otter at the end of the pier on our first day and loved watching the Oyster Catchers at work on the beach. We will definitely be back.”

“Das Haus war sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Garten ist wirklich schön. Leider war das Geschirr nicht so sauber an einigen Tassen, Tellern und Schüsseln waren Essensreste. Aber haben wir dank der Spülmaschine schnell beseitigt. Ein Staubsauger wäre optimal, für zwischendurch. Der Blick auf den See ist perfekt, allerdings das Haus liegt es auch direkt an einer sehr befahrenen Hauptstraße und das Schlafzimmer an der Straße ist was für Frühaufsteher!!!!! Fazit: ok und Invarary ist wirklich nett.”

“This place is like one out of a fairytale. Most spacious! The property owner cooked amazing l meals and brought them to the room herself! They are wonderful people to meet! There are so many places within walking distance to see and enjoy in the area. The people who lived on the island are so very kind and gracious! Absolutely stunning home! Full of jacobite history for those Outlander fans! It was the best vacation i could have ever wished for!”

“I had wonderful weather and the hosts could not have been more helpful. The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped. Only 2 criticisms: the mirror in the bathroom should be a few inches lower. I am 5ft 2 inches and could only see the top of my head and pepper and salt would be very nice.”

“De cottage is ruim, sfeervol ingericht en van alles voorzien. Er is geen WiFi of bereik dus alle gelegenheid om tot rust te komen in een prachtige omgeving. Mooie wandelingen gemaakt en veel gelezen. Er liggen overigens ook veel dvd’s in het huisje. Bij de gastheer/gastvrouw kun je terecht voor alle vragen en tips. Wij hebben een heerlijke week gehad.”

“The lodge was perfect for an outdoor family like us with dogs. Location is quite remote but that's what we like. We'd advise going stocked up with food and drink before going. there is a pub within walking distance with pub food and a great pool table. Meals were after 6pm. The lodge was very comfortable with everything you need. Having the sauna was fantastic especially after a long day out. There is a lot do do around the area but do expect to drive here and there. “The cottage was very large ,with 4 bathrooms the bedrooms were large and comfortable the only downside was the lack of wardrobes in all bedrooms and we found the television very small for the size of the lounge. I know you don't go to watch television but when the weather is not to good and you have small children you need somethig of a decent size to watch . “Tucked away at the top of the village this little cottage was comfortable and had a very well equipped kitchen. The pictures don't do it justice, it's great place. A lovely walk to Kilmartin (20 minutes if you find an overgrown shortcut through the back wood). My top tip, take birdseed for the feeders and breakfast becomes a fantastic show of local birdlife.”
