“The Yearling will always have a very special place in my heart. It is old Florida charm at its finest. The cabins are not 5-star accommodations, but rather exactly what you would expect to find located on Cross Creek between Lake Orange and Lake Lochloosa. They are clean, comfortable and offer an excellent view of the creek. The neighborhood peacocks call to each other while birds and other wildlife occasionally travel by. My husband and I have stayed three times so far and would love to go back...

“We have stayed with them before and loved it so much that we wanted to come back again. It was even better than we remembered and we can't wait to come back a third time. Very clean and love the fenced yard. Our dog Sammy had a good time chasing lizards! Ate breakfast out in the screened in porch every morning and it was so fun to listen to all the different types of birds and all the different woodpeckers too. Thanks for a relaxing time!”

“We truly enjoyed our stay in this log cabin. It is much more then we ever expected. Clean and cozy, comfortable with details. Kitchen had everything we needed, beds are comfortable, gas grill and charcoal grill outside on a porch. Fresh eggs was just heavenly delicious. Thank you Dayne for your hospitality and for taking great care of this beautiful house and surrounding. We are Family of 5 plus mom and my sister's family. We stayed comfortably for 4 night. “This location was just what I needed! Amazing spot to just relax and so close to the beach too. We spent most of our time on the lake but took a day trip over to the beach. We drove 14 hours to get to the vacation home. COMPLETELY WORTH IT!!! Cannot recommend it highly enough!”

“This cabin is so beautiful and had all that we needed ! It wasn’t too far from stores . It was clean and had towels and even had shampoo and conditioner and soap if you forgot yours. The two fridges were nice to have also . I would definitely recommend staying here and if we plan a Trip next year we will definitely be staying here ! ”
