Slott i Lockerbie

“I usually stay at Hetland Hall because it is located a bit off and it is quiet. This time though, not so much! There was a wedding reception (on a Tuesday) and I was for some reason given a room just over the ballroom. Extremely loud music until the middle of the night made sleeping impossible. I wasn't informed that there was a party that night and I can't understand why I wasn't given a room in some other part of the hotel. Simply unacceptable.”

“This property was pretty much all that we needed for our stay. Everything about it was perfect for us. The room was exceptionally clean as were the public areas. From the moment of checking in until we left the whole visit was perfect. The person at reception informed us that they had to only recently taken over the property and it was obvious that they are doing some fantastic upgrading work to the rooms as well as the public areas. It is a lovely venue and I would highly recommend it.”

“A great location with Lovely staff:)”

“Lovely breakfast and super hospitality!”

“Fin Park trägården och bra frukost”

“Fantastic wholesome stay, with extremely welcoming and friendly staff”

“The hotel and setting were fantastic. The dinner menu and food were excellent. While a full breakfast was offered we opted for the continental breakfast which was very ordinary. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable but the room's furnishing were sparse. There were no outlets on either side of the bed which can be a minor inconvenience if use your phone as your bedside clock and still need to charge it. All said, the character of the hotel and the friendly staff made this a perfect...

“Unfortunately another disappointing night at the Inn. Went for a meal, again staffing issues with chefs resulting in quite a few things not being available. I thought there was a wedding function going on as every now and then loud music would blast through the restaurant area but it was just the music coming from the kitchen area as the doors swung open and closed. Sadly in need of a makeover.”

“The room, was nice and clean, lovely big bed, very comfortable, large screen tv. The fridge contained, fresh milk , + sachets of milk, there were a selection of Breakfast cereals, Kettle and teabags provided. The only badpoints were, the property was situated at a very busy crossroads, so lots of traffic noise, but quiet, as the evening went on, so had a very good nights sleep. The rooms are above the pub, but no noise, also very covenient for a quiet drink, and for having a meal from their...
