“Fantastiskt bemötande i genuin miljö. Alla rum Ă€r inte fĂ€rdiga Ă€nnu (juli 2017) men de gör sitt bĂ€sta för att man ska fĂ„ en bra vistelse. Vi fick trĂ€ffa lokala sociala förmĂ„gor och hĂ€nga i baren med vĂ€rdinnan som alla bidrog till att skapa den stĂ€mning som vi var ute efter att uppleva i det riktiga Skottland/England. Det absolut trevligaste boendet pĂ„ en rundresa i England och Skottland pĂ„ tjugo dagar.”

“I was warmly welcomed to this B&B. It is a beautiful house set in extensive grounds. From my window I had lovely views of the garden and beyond. The room was beautifully decorated and the bedding was soft and comfortable. “I usually stay at Hetland Hall because it is located a bit off and it is quiet. This time though, not so much! There was a wedding reception (on a Tuesday) and I was for some reason given a room just over the ballroom. Extremely loud music until the middle of the night made sleeping impossible. I wasn't informed that there was a party that night and I can't understand why I wasn't given a room in some other part of the hotel. Simply unacceptable.”

“This was an immaculately clean and comfortable stay. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating. The restaurant had a good choice and the chef clearly takes pride in his food- great quality and lots of choice. The breakfast included traditional ootions but also good quality food. We loved the location and would highly recommend the Queens for an overnight or longer stay. We also brought out dog and we were all made to feel very welcome. ”

"I was quite disappointed with my stay. The breakfast was terrible — very limited options and not appetizing at all. The room wasn’t comfortable; I could hear the neighbors talking and even snoring through the walls. The bed was hard and uncomfortable, and to make things worse, the noise from the birds outside kept me up most of the night. Overall, not a pleasant experience and I wouldn’t stay here again. The good thing about the hotel was the location, at the heart of Carlisle. "
