Excellent transport links to most parts of London. Buses run 24 hours daily, 30 seconds from the door, and take 20 to 40 minutes to the centre, depending on the day. The number 12 bus, which runs every 5 to 6 minutes (12 minutes at night), passes several attractions and landmarks, including Westminster, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, Regent Street, and Oxford Street, before ending at Oxford Circus. It has been suggested as a cheaper alternative to formal bus tours in London.' From the same stop, buses go to Tate Modern, Left Bank, Brixton, Greenwich, Blackheath and Nunhead Cemetery, a nature reserve.
Another good short excursion is to Dulwich Art Gallery. British Library is one 50-minute bus ride with spectacular London views.
Alternatively, take 10 min. Walk to Peckham Rye station, where trains take 12 to 20 minutes to Victoria or London Bridge. London Overground East London Line from Peckham Rye station connects ten museums. The Underground can be accessed via bus at Vauxhall, Elephant and Castle and the Oval.

Lime bikes, a dock-free, e-assist bike service, are plentiful around Peckham and can be located through the Lime UK app. Car hire on Old Kent Road is a 20-minute walk. Airport transfers are available to Gatwick and Heathrow for approx. 50 GBP and will take you door to door.
