The location was great, close to Kings cross station. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The critiques I'd give are:
- The twin bed in the room was rather small. I wish the measures were available when booking.
- The bathroom had a curved wall, right in front of the toilet seat. That made it impossible for me (and my partner) to sit straight ahead on the seat, or our left legs would hit the wall. We are both over 170 cm tall.
- The shower head that was fastened to the ceiling and couldn't be removed which I personally don't like. But that's just my preference.
- We hung up our towels, because there was a note that said that if we wanted to re-use our towels we needed to hang them up, only if left on the floor would they be exchanged. Yet, every afternoon when we came back we had new towels.
- The "Do not disturb" only worked if a key card was left in a cardholder on the wall in the room. Which meant that we couldn't activate the "Do not disturb" if we left the room and both took our key cards.
- The breakfast was okay. But like the shower, not a preference of mine. A lot of the options were just different pastries and the waffles seemed store-bought and pre-packed since they were served cold and coated in sugar. The eggs had been cooked at least a day if not even longer before - they were refrigerator cold and the yellow had started to change colour.
I'd stay here again. The critiques are only my own opinion of what could have made the stay even better.
